Two of the four stars on the Chicago Flag represent the world fairs hosted in Chicago: the World’s Columbian Exposition in 1893 and the Century of Progress Exposition in 1933. The Chicago Public Library has mounted a pictorial exhibit that showcases various images from both fair — from the perspective of professional and pedestrian participant alike.

Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) is now part of Potbelly’s Shake Fundraiser program! On July 15, the CAF’s Skyscraper Shake was introduced at three of their locations.

– 55 East Jackson (Jackson & Wabash for all my DePaul Loop campus peeps)
– 111 East Wacker (location closest to the dock)
